Musicians! I need YOU, yes YOU, to help me in the completion of my senior thesis.  All you have to do is type some answers into a questionnaire! And perhaps reblog to share with all your musician friends :)

I am creating an online publication that informs new bands (or even experienced bands) about booking and executing their own tour. Sure, Google Maps works well to find locations, but what about the stuff that you can’t find without the help of an insider? What weird, quirky, amazing, local things have you discovered? I’m looking not only for local musicians who live in the cities, but also touring musicians who have toured through these cities and have advice that they can impart to others. I want to hear about the individual music scene of each city from the insiders who have experienced it themselves.

I am starting with the “East Coast Edition” and am looking to collect information on the following cities:

• Jacksonville, FL
• Orlando, FL
• Fort Lauderdale/Miami, FL

The big idea is to create a resource that musicians can turn to and – on a larger scale – create a community feeling by having musicians helping other musicians. So please take a moment to fill out the survey multiple times for as many cities as you can and PLEASE SEND TO OR INVITE all your musician friends!!! I don’t have contacts in every city and each contribution I get is tons of help. All musician contributors will be credited in the final product. Thanks!
